British rule in Middle east

Before the British Mandate in 1920, British rule in the Middle East covered:

1. Egypt (1882-1922): 1,010,000 km² (390,120 sq mi)
2. Sudan (1898-1956): 1,886,068 km² (728,215 sq mi)
3. Iraq (1914-1932): 438,000 km² (169,100 sq mi)
4. Kuwait (1899-1961): 17,800 km² (6,900 sq mi)
5. Bahrain (1880-1971): 760 km² (293 sq mi)
6. Qatar (1916-1971): 11,400 km² (4,400 sq mi)
7. United Arab Emirates (Trucial States) (1892-1971): 83,600 km² (32,300 sq mi)
8. Oman (Muscat and Oman) (1891-1971): 309,500 km² (119,500 sq mi)
9. Aden Colony (Yemen) (1839-1967): 111,000 km² (42,900 sq mi)

Total area under British rule in Middle East before 1920: approximately 4,877,609 km² (1,883,131 sq mi)

After WWI, the British Empire gained control of:

1. Palestine (1920-1948): 120,000 km² (46,300 sq mi)
2. Transjordan (1921-1946): 89,500 km² (34,600 sq mi)

Total area under British rule in Middle East after WWI: approximately 5,087,109 km² (1,964,031 sq mi)

All of the British controlled land was handed over to local rulers/Tribes and all of them are Muslims and they also handed over small piece of land to Jewish people who were custodians of Jerusalem and Israel for more than 3000 years but displaced by Islamic invasion over 1000 of years.

The area of modern Israel is approximately 22,000 square kilometers (about 8,500 square miles). This includes the territory of Israel as it exists today, which encompasses a variety of geographical features, from coastal plains to mountainous regions and the Negev Desert.

Historically, the land has been significant to various peoples and cultures, and its boundaries have changed over time due to numerous geopolitical events. In the context of historical claims, some refer to the broader region that includes parts of modern-day Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria, often referred to in biblical or historical terms. However, the internationally recognized borders of the State of Israel today are as established in the mid-20th century.

Total land handed over to Islamic rulers is arund 5,000,000 km² and Jewish people got on 22,000 km².
